Why We Built The Collective
Independent design shouldn't mean wearing every hat. Too often, talented designers are asked to balance creative leadership with administration, business development, and constant self-promotion.
The Collective is a network of experienced, portfolio-driven independent designers working in the residential builder and custom development space — professionals who value creative autonomy while recognizing the power of working together. Soundpoint is not an employer, and it's not a marketplace. It's a strategic operating partner that removes the friction of going it alone — giving designers access to vetted builder-aligned project opportunities, operational and administrative support, clear scopes and professional structure, and the backing of a trusted brand and like-minded community.
